Why do you need my credit card for a free trial?
Asking for CC info helps us prevent abuse of the system (AKA jerks who sign up for endless free trials). But never fear: every signup comes with a fully functional 14-day free trial.
Can I cancel, upgrade, or downgrade?
Yes indeed! Bluetick is a flexible monthly service that grows with your needs. You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade at any time. You can also choose an Annual Plan, which provides an additional discount. Contact support@blutetick.io with any questions.
What's the setup process like?
You can get started in just a few steps. Connect your mailbox via IMAP, add/import your contacts, create your email sequence and add contacts to the sequence.
Replies from your email sequence to your contacts will arrive directly in your mailbox.
What is a “Mailbox”?
A Mailbox is the existing IMAP-based mail server where you *already* receive your email.
After you connect your Mailbox to Bluetick, we monitor it for replies to emails sent from a Bluetick email sequence. When a reply is detected, the contact is removed from the email sequence.
Using your existing mail server allows emails to be sent directly from your account and appear as if they’re coming directly from you — because they are.
Can I use Bluetick for my clients?
Yes! Bluetick’s flexible Subscription and Account structure can easily keep your data safe and separate from your clients’ data, and vice versa.
Here’s how it works:
- A Subscription is the payment plan you choose. Subscriptions can contain one or more Accounts.
- An Account can contain one or more Mailboxes, sequences, sets of contacts, and companies. You can also have one or more users in an Account.
- A User is the person logging in. Users are completely independent of everything else. You can have a user login without a paid subscription (hellooo, inviting your VA to manage your follow-ups while you crack open a beer).
Need help picking the right plan?
Solo and Team subscriptions are meant for use within a single organization, or for a single client.
If you’d like to manage accounts for your clients, choose the Agency Subscription. You’ll be able to create and manage multiple Accounts, while keeping all of your different clients’ data separate.
When emails are sent, who do they come from?
Uhh, did you mean “from whence do they come”? Juuust kidding. Emails come directly from you: your email address, with no funny headings or prefixes. Since we’re using your IMAP and SMTP server to receive and send emails, this creates the illusion that you’re personally crafting each email.
What mail servers do you support?
All of them! Because Bluetick connects to your existing mailbox using the IMAP & SMTP protocols, Google Workspace, Exchange Server, Office 365, Rackspace, or any other third-party hosted mail server solution. Some customers even administer their own mail servers. It just works.
Do you have tutorials?
Yes! While we’re in the process of building more tutorials, we do have a knowledgebase that’ll lead you through setting up Bluetick with your inbox, connecting Zapier, and more.
How do I know Bluetick won’t miss an email that I already replied to?
The biggest complaint we heard about our competitors is that sometimes, they missed an email in the mailbox. When that happens and an errant sequence email is sent, you’ve just effectively destroyed the illusion that you were emailing leads personally.
To prevent this from happening, Bluetick keep a synchronized copy of your entire mailbox. It doesn’t matter where an email is stored in your mailbox. If it exists, Bluetick will find it. When a new message is detected, we use multiple methods for determining whether it’s a real reply or an autoreply, and respond accordingly.
Currently, we synchronize nearly 7 million email messages every 10 minutes or so.
